Installed this in my 03. Plug n play. The tap feature doesn't work, and I just needed to splice the existing wires to get the tow/haul to work. I still consider it plug n play. Nice little upgrade.

I have a 2020 platinum esky shifter in my 2006 Denali. The GMT900 shifter and the K2XX shifters are identical in size where they mount to the side of the column, and the wire pigtails are the same.

the tow haul is a simple wire connection that is a momentary switch so honestly you could do any shifter you can physically make fit and could do a pushbutton on the dash for the tow/haul if you wanted.

Did any of you have to cut and bend the shaft? I didn't originally and it pointed downward in drive. Ended up doing like the example linked below and it looks better. I used the NNBS leather wrapped with stitch facing away: 25807853

Several of us have in the forum, I did a small write up on the NBS section. There is no need to cut into the shifter like they did on the gmfullsize write up.

I ended up cutting/bending as I missed your post from before. It's not completely flat like yours, but it's much better than before.
