What Magnaflow muffler for 08' Denali?

I've been searching this site for a while and I can't find the info I'm looking for. Can any of you guys point me in the right direction for the correct Magnaflow muffler for a 6.2l Yukon Denali? I want the longer 22" muffler.

It's my understanding that the 6.2l Denali has a 3.5" exhaust while the 5.3l comes with a 3" exahust. Would this be the correct muffler (12909)? http://www.amazon.com/Magnaflow-12909-Stainless-Steel-Muffler/dp/B000XQM1LC/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1307852411&sr=8-12

Every exhaust thread I find recommends the Magnaflow 12589 for the Tahoe/Yukon, but it's only 3" so I don't think it would be correct for my Denali.

It will work if it's the right length all you need is 3.5 inch outside to 3 inch inside diameter adapters.

My 07 Denali XL has the MagnaFlow 12909 on it the muffler shop cut the stock out but had to make the 12909 work because I wanted the 3.5 in and it only come in center/offset and the stock is offset left, offset right. I didn't want to choke it down to 3" for offset/offset. So by "making it work" they had to slightly **** the muffler to get it to line it up. ($40 to install). To make it straight and look factory ($180). You cant see it and it is 100% functionable so i couldn't see spending another $140.

Hey Davey - thanks for the tip! I went ahead and ordered the 12909 muffler last weekend (haven't received it yet). Hopefully the exhaust shop I'm going to can get it welded up. How does your Denali sound with the Magnaflow?
