Not sure why I didn't think of this before. But swaped out the black bottom piece of the roof rack with the one that came with the escalade and I was able to put on the color matched end peices. I think it looks a lot better know.. RIGT Nathan? lol..

Not that hard...if you have a pump you can save some time on the rear diff...front diff and transfer case have drain plugs....trans is a pump the dealer hooks up but u dont have to use that to get most of the fluid out...

Very easy to swap. pop off end caps and 4 screws hold down the roof rack. For the black piece on the bottom of roof rack just two screws hold it down on teh end and pop revets on the chrome part.

It also looks like you painted the house, got a new roof, cleaned the garage and swapped the 300z for a 300c. You've been busy!

Haha, Actually the sig pic I took at 7:30 in the morn and one with the end cap swap was taken at 3pm. When the sun hits that side of the house. Also yes the 300z is a detailing job that I am doing. I need another garage.

Well, I finally got around to having my slides powder coated and I get a call from the powder coater saying there's a a small crack developing on one wheel near one of the spokes. Fortunately, my wheel guy was able to get KMC to cover the cracked wheel under warranty and I should be getting a replacement next week. Then I can have that wheel blasted and all my wheels powder coated.

They wouldn't cover it at first because it has been sand blasted. However, after explaining to them that the crack was hidden behind the finish and it would never have been detected until the wheel possibly cracked further in the future they agreed to cover it. Plus the rest of the wheel was in perfect condition, no bends or curb rash that they could blame the crack on. Took about 10 days to get them to finally agree to cover it.

Wasn't all accomplished today but finished today. Got the bowtie logos blacked out, ventshade bug and window deflectors on (not perfect but will do, I think the 3M tape has a magnet and just sucks to the door, then you can't move it, they need a better system with something that dries in 30 minutes or something) and airaid jr. installed (minus the filter since it didn't neet changed yet, will install the airaid one when it needs changed). Hopefully SLP tips w/ resonator delete soon.

I just did my plug wires also. Did you put a silicone or some kind of grease on the plug. The oem ones has something but I don't know what

Good idea bathing her before you take her to the detailer.

Those mofos are so judgmental.
