The V1 has saved me though, many many times, I have it set for instant on with even a weak radar signal but when there right there and your not paying attention bam it's over.
They don’t even patrol our highways here anymore it seems. I read our highway patrol has hundreds less officers than 10 years ago and the population has boomed. I rarely see a cop on the highway unless there’s an accident.

when I went thru there in June I only saw them by Medford/grants pass and then up by Salem, usually there is bunch right there at the border with Washington but didn't see a one this time. I think I got pulled over right there by Medford but he just gave me a warning

must be nice.... i see 2-4 highway patrol atleast every other day. usually just grab people during "rush hours" out of the hov lane

been doing truck stuff, slowly but its getting done.
-spohn rear bars to correct pinion angle.
-building a new exhaust, single 4" from the ypipe back, all stainless, magnaflow mufflers (one 30" case, and prob two 6" case), cutting up a diesel exhaust system for most of the bends.
-changed out the motor mounts to the atomic poly mounts
-^ since i had to remove headers i took a good look at them, ypipe welds are cracked, and one of the header collectors its close to cracking, speed engineering has warrantied them so i have a brand new set sitting here, but i may try and repair them and hope they hold a few months - I had vbands welded in place of the slip fittings, and the ypipe welded up solid so not as easy as just swapping
-new torque converter, really was trying to put off doing this myself, but ive got so much of it torn apart that i dont feel like putting it all back together, taking it to my friends shop to do on lift, and having to take most of what i already have back apart.
- and front 9.25 ifs diff should have all the parts i need to complete installing it, cv axles are sorted, front driveshaft is shortened, just waiting on getting other stuff done

I don't know if you use your GPS(not for getting around town) But you might increase your ODDS if you use the WAZE app, its a mapping app but it has reporting features where folks will report things like accidents, debris in road, and of course our friends in BLUE... I prefer google maps, but WAZE definitely might be worth it.

Waze is my only go to now. Especially since android auto has been supporting it since Lst year.

ya I use Waze whenever I go anywhere beside just around town, where they where parked last night they normally only park there when they have the airplane up during the day, the plane spots the speeder and radio's it to the HP, I just downloaded a app to autolaunch waze whenever I start to drive so i will see how that works out usually i have the music turned up and then suffer from CHS and I am in and out of the car a lot and don't have time to screw around turning on waze every time.

I normally listen to my ipod via the usb cable but if I set it to connect via Bluetooth then waze should announce over the ipod music instead of over the phone speaker.

I can’t even count how many times Waze has saved me here in San Diego. Especially when they hide on the on ramps to major freeways that you can’t see till it’s to late. I ping every cop I see as well to save someone’s else the headache.

I live in a neighborhood with both local police and sheriffs and they said when they are doing a speed trap they will have the Waze app open and when they spotted, they will move slightly up to throw people off. Ughhh

I ping them 2x once where they are then up 1/2-1 mile up the road just for that reason.

Fitment just OK and it should be perfect. He expects nothing less than that in his own garage. See his toys here.

Got my MSD 2 Step hooked up the other day... Didn't expect it to shoot flames with it only set at 1,800 rpm. Better quality video coming soon, perhaps I'll raise it to 4,000 - 5,000 rpm and see how it sounds :)

is it just me or does that seem like a really bad backfire/timing issue? am I missing something?
edit: I guess that's purpose? to retard the timing for launch? that's what I gather from a little googling anyway, interesting...

That would be the point, it pulls timing and alternates cylinders so I can go WOT at a specific RPM and launch.
