Pulled my 20’ Sea Hunt out of the barn for the first time all winter, first time “towing” anything with my Tahoe.

Got bottom paint done yesterday and next weekend I’ll acid wash the hull, wax it and finish prepping for launch.

No, actually it was a duty vehicle in Woodway, TX. I bought it last year from Asia Motors in Chicago and had it shipped to me. It's in great shape and I love it.

Just wondering because i see that you're in MI and mine came from UM campus pd. Same color and spotlights on both sides.

Haven’t put them in yet but I got new hubs and EBC Green Stuff 7000 pads. I’m at almost 60k on what I imagine are the original hubs and the front end is starting to get washy and noisy. Pads are just a much needed upgrade. Hopefully I don’t destroy another impact getting the hub nut off, last time I did hubs on my TBSS I started my electric impact on fire (got the nut free tho).

Just use a pipe between the studs, braced against the ground, and a breaker bar. How did you torque them when you installed them? Hopefully you didn't just impact them on?

I torqued them with a pry bar between the studs and a torque wrench. The impact was a smoldering mess from getting it off and I had to tighten everything by hand. Regardless, the vehicle I did that on has been sitting in a junkyard for years by now.

I did mine with the same bearings about 50k ago. My electric impact wouldn't budge the hub nut. Popped the center cap off and loosened the hub nut with a 1/2" drive ratchet, a 6" extension at a 4' piece of pipe with the truck still on the ground.. Once loose I could remove it with just the ratchet once I have everything else apart.

Not today but replaced my front rotors this weekend, a simple job that turned into a 6 hour ordeal because the passenger side rotor was rusted on but they came off and got my new Raybestos Police Service rotors on.
