Took it out to run errands and put in 14.5 gallons of E85 -- after calling the station to make sure they had it to dispense. Last time I went the E85 pumps were dry. Went from 17% to 52% alcohol content. Sure wish I could find a good ethanol content PID for my NBS and Torque Pro.

After I got home I went under it and checked all our work from the tank drop last week and it's all good. Put the spare back where it belongs.

I repaired my rear splash shield after finding out it’s discontinued and installed a new front one. I also found out most NBS don’t have the rear one.

I didn't know the rear one existed, I took my front off months ago to have a buddy build me an aluminum one. That was months ago...... lol

Mine has a factory aluminum one behind the smaller plastic splash guard. Someone on here a week or so ago was looking for the rubber bushings for my style of skid plate.
You must have a Z71. They're something like $120 for a new one. I wasn't eager to pay that.

Nope. LT with Premium Smooth Ride. Getting soft in my old age. ;)

Wouldn't mind finding a reasonably-priced skid plate for the fuel tank.
Huh. I'm gonna see if I can find a p/n just to see if they're still available and at what cost.
Edit: I don't see it listed. @915_Tahoe Rene can you look up the rear splash shield for his truck?

I wouldn't worry, it's fine since the whole thing is wrapped in a heatsink unlike the regular wire-wound resistors that are sometimes used.
Yeah, I just wanted to make sure he was aware that was an option. They do get hot though. Even if last a few years less, they're cheap enough to replace.

I have found them at the junkyard before, usually just laying there already unbolted because they were after the transmission or whatever. the bolts are usually sitting there nearby as well.

I finished the exhaust install yesterday. Took it for a test drive. Got really scared because I started hearing a terrible noise. Realized it was the car in front of me. That guy has some serious problems.
Then I started having some problems. Couple of codes P0171, P0174 & P0300. So I parked it for the night. Went back this morning to investigate and 2 of my plug wires hadn't seated properly when I reinstalled them and while I was in there, I knocked the CAI tube loose between the MAF and intake.
Off to carwash and it was still running rough, but no codes. Thought I fill it up since I was on E. Ran out of gas pulling into the station. Runs smoother with gas in it. Who would of thought? Happy with it all except for small hole where there is an exhaust leak. I know where it is and was expecting it though.
