Ahh, I was thinking "The Machine".Yeah....no lol. It’s The Beast so no bed.
Edit: didn’t realize I forgot the pic.
Ditto, gonna see how I like it and maybe order another for the Denali!I just ordered a decent-looking one on fleabay, so we'll see what it looks like when it arrives.
Good reason to convert.. hey, then you can make them any color you want... ! [emoji106][emoji16]Since it's used I'm hoping I don't have to fix backlights but I have the bulbs.

Haha! Nice! I started a trend and didn’t even have to do anything! [emoji16][emoji106][emoji631]And I got the bug for the headlight switch. Found one that looks perfect for $25 shipped. I’ll just swap the Esky knob over. I want to re-enable the auto headlight function since I’m running Morimoto HID’s with their relays instead of the cheap ones I had issues with. I use the auto headlights on The Machine with the same setup and no blown ballasts there. Not to remember how I disabled that. BTW you would think the Esky switches would have the indicator lights but nope.

Replaced my intermediate steering shaft. Super easy job, except for the one nut. GM is good at that shit.. this should address my clunking noise going over bumps, and dips, etc.. clunking steering noises in general. Gotta make dinner, so test drive will have to wait. The alignment of the steering wheel looks good.. hopefully.. I held it in place with the seatbelt.

And had to use a trick to keep the nut on the socket. This thing was a ***** to get to:

And the steering looks pretty dead on. Fingers crossed.. don’t want to go get an alignment..

ETA: happy to report my steering clunk is gone! And so far, steering wheel seems perfectly straight and aligned. Success! [emoji106]
No, same length. They have a sliding shaft.. [emoji12]Is the new shaft that different in length, or is it a photo trick?
Just did my esky headlamp knob with matching esky a/c knobs. And I got the bug for the headlight switch. Found one that looks perfect for $25 shipped. I’ll just swap the Esky knob over. Bad thing is that the knob is not serviceable, comes with the switch.
Switch is discontinued with gm.
