Replaced my intermediate steering shaft. Super easy job, except for the one nut. GM is good at that shit.. this should address my clunking noise going over bumps, and dips, etc.. clunking steering noises in general. Gotta make dinner, so test drive will have to wait. The alignment of the steering wheel looks good.. hopefully.. I held it in place with the seatbelt.

And had to use a trick to keep the nut on the socket. This thing was a ***** to get to:

And the steering looks pretty dead on. Fingers crossed.. don’t want to go get an alignment..

ETA: happy to report my steering clunk is gone! And so far, steering wheel seems perfectly straight and aligned. Success! [emoji106]

@Sam Harris I'm so jelly of that little LED on your headlight switch, showing you they're on.
Strange that you don’t have it. Probably like the rear door courtesy lights. Went from lights, to reflectors.. save $ 0.50 GM [emoji107][emoji19] I wonder if you can replace with one that has the LED..?

I've looked online from time to time, but haven't found one that shows it. Have to expand my Upull prowess and hit the LKQ yards; I didn't know we had any but they're not far from the other Upulls.

Also did an oil change. It's the 2nd since the new motor. There were some metal slivers on the drain plug--not too happy about that.

I do mine every 2500 miles. I was actually 600 miles early. Oil was black.
Close up of the slivers.

I just went out and tried, couldn’t find it in any of the menus. Pretty sure it doesn’t have access, probably why you can’t program mileage with the Tech2.
thanks, I was just wondering there is a reasonably priced yukon down the street from me and it say's 200k (odometer broken) I am assuming the lights are just burnt out and there just guessing it's a lien sale at a storage facility, haven't got the vin yet to check what was reported last.
