Bought esky applique caps for $125. They are in decent shape and nice paint so I thought its a good price compared to the ugly factory caps.

Anzo smoked LED tail lights. I got them for $60 BNIB... couldn't say no to that price although I hate the little bulge and red reflectors on the bottom. The guy got them brand new from insurance when someone backed into his truck but sold the truck with OEMs

I have a dilemma if I should do the Esky rear window/brake light mod. The same guy with appliques has a black hatch so it would look nice on my truck. Only $200 too. I'm most likely just going to do it... thoughts? In the future I'm thinking of going with the red spyder leds with white reverse on bottom

CK805s are pitting and pealing. Just going to run them as is for now as tires are near new maybe strip and plastidip later

Bought some meguiars ultimate compound this weekend and decided to use it today. Washed it, then used the compound (which I think worked very well, then polished then waxed. By time I was done it was too dark to see on the camera. Took me about 4 hours to do all that, the longest I've spent on detailing my truck, can't wait to see what it looks like in the sun tomorrow. I do have some before and afters of the compound because it was light enough

Nice work. Love that Ultimate Compound. Did you clay first or just straight to compound?

I didn't do the clay bar because advance auto didn't have it and I didn't want to wait 4 days for the bar and today is the only day I had time. One weekend in a month or so when I have nothing to do I'm going to get everything for a full detail, clay bar, better polish that's not from the 1990s, and a carnuba based wax instead of the speed wax I have which I bought for my wheels.

Got the box for my under seat sub today. The cut out is exactly what sundown specified but it's slightly too small. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have it shaved and installed.

After using the rca outputs to the base amp, I got rid of the static but I'm not happy. Now when I push the volume it distorts so easily. Going to run speaker wire from the head unit to the speakers and just use the internal amp, this bypassing the crappy bose.

Cool man. Well the work you did with that compound sure looks good on that blue.

Just keep maintaining until you can get some clay on it and the spray wax after washings sure helps keep it slick. Stuff you probably already know. Just putting .02 :)

Somehow my driveway got packed today. People thinking I be running a "side bizness" ya know.

NNBS and NBS are mine of course. Subaru is a
co-workers that I just detailed this weekend while they are on holiday. Pics to follow.

Escalade is the wife's friend (a rental that her company hires out) and the K2xx is a rental for work. Esky already had 37k, looked rough and the A/C wasn't working.

Didn't drive it, but how dirty it was in and out was a bit tragic. Needed some serious detail.

The entire car had specks of rust and just lack of paint care. I clay barred and Meguiars Ultimate Compounded the crap out of it. Daughter even helped me clay bar which was really cool. She did a great job.

Then I polished, sealed and glazed it. Gave the engine bay a solid couple Simple Green washes as it looked like hell and coated it with some 303.

Still needs a litttle more work on some of the trim, but pretty happy with the paint outcome.

2013 Subaru WRX. Pretty quick little 5 speed. Given it a couple runs with the Tahoe.

Just figured I'd share a little extra work.

Thanks for the comments guys. Deff will pick up the esky 3rd. Those Subarus look real nice wide body and big wheels (10" wide)

I had an 02 wrx before this and it was pretty quick. Building up 99 2.5RS Coupe soon. I have the shell working on getting a motor. Not sure if I want to go street style or turn it into a rally car as we have a decent amateur scene locally

I found out today, I can fit an 8' 8" 2x4 inside the Yukon, no problem. We got a pair to make it easier to get my dads "new" $75 aluminum topper on his '98 Sierra.

We drilled and bolted it down.

No more snow and ice in the bed!

Good looking car. I got to drive a tuned STI version of one of those about 6 years ago at a dealer and DAMN they are quick little cars.
