Wow. You gotta let us know what happens.

Will do!

Those clamps look and feel heavy duty to me. Got some weight to them. They didn't cheap out on quality with these Imo.

Good deal! It was about a year or so ago I had heard that, so maybe they changed them out. Can't wait to hear this beast cammed and with long tubes!!!

Picked up some old 4 tone horns from a Buick Roadmaster at the Junkyard during lunchtime for $3 a piece. They are single wire, so i guess i need to ground my other wire. You think the stock relay can handle all 4?
possible but why - just use a relay and don't worry about it

I agree. I'm not really sure what possessed me to go with the 6500k's when bought the whole retrofit.

Finally tackled replacing the upper air blend door actuator. I can't understand how GM thought that was a good place to put that actuator.

Either way its done.

You should try the recirc door actuator if you think that ones hard. It's designed to remove the entire dash to replace it.

Do you have a part number for the keys? And that's all you did to the z71 to get it to fit the 33's?

Just search E-bay for "Chevy torsion keys lift"

Oh look.... I already did it!
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=chevy+torsion+keys+lift&_sop=15

and..... keys alone = http://www.ebay.com/itm/Torsion-Key-Lift-Kit-1999-2006-GMC-Sierra-Chevy-Silverado-1500-4x4-key-03-6-lug-/371296587897?fits=Make:Chevrolet&hash=item5673005079:g:Hv8AAOSweW5VHTM5&vxp=mtr

keys and 2" rear spacers, and shock extenders for the rear = http://www.ebay.com/itm/99-06-GMC-Chevy-1-3-Front-2-Rear-Lift-Torsion-Keys-Shock-Extenders-Spacers-/381524777984?fits=Make:Chevrolet&hash=item58d4a61c00:g:uLIAAOSwX~dWnvJn&vxp=mtr

and.... make sure you get the tool!!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/GM-Chevy-To...:g:3EsAAOSwXeJYLfHr&item=272000714104&vxp=mtr

Just installing keys to level alone, you should be able to clear 285/75/16's or 285/70/17's on the stock wheels with no problems. Hell, you don't even need to replace the keys, just crank your stock keys up far enough to clear (maybe 1- 1 1/2"), and get an alignment.
