I need to do that. Mines an 02 so doing the led upgrade is too hard, it’s pretty easy for the 03-06. But some of my bulbs are burned out so I need to replace them. Do you have a link to the bulbs? I did the ones in my SWC but don’t remember where I got them or even if they’re the same bulb.

Here's one source to consider, Mark. A couple of years ago I got incandescent bulbs for a couple 4wd switches and a rear wiper switch, and they were a perfect fit. They may have both LED and incandescent for each switch. This link takes you to the 1999 to 2002 models.

That’s awesome and kinda spooky- I just googled them and found a YouTube video on replacing the bulbs in the door switches which looks like it’s a PIA but I can do it, so I ordered bulbs for the switches, my power mirror switch and my secondary info center which only the Denali’s have. All have bulbs out. And guess who it was? www.Caraudiobulbs.com !

I like their website. I just replaced my climate control bulbs with incandescent last night. They were out of stock, so ordered through Lmctruck.com. I ordered one set on dec. 8th, lost in the USPS system. Ordered another set right before Christmas and got them Tues.

Just filled it up with gas, too wet and cold outside to do much of anything else but to hunker down in the house. We are supposed to get a cold front come in tonight and may even get a little snow! Unusual for Waco. Hope everyone has a better New Year! Stay warm and safe on amateur night.
God Bless Texas! And God Bless America! Stay safe and have a couple adult beverages while you monitor that snow! [emoji16][emoji106][emoji631][emoji631][emoji631][emoji631]

But why..?
I know I’m doing incandescent because on an 02 the circuits are a mess of polarities, making it confusing as f to try to solder in led bulbs. That’s why nobody does the 99-02’s. Otherwise I would have done blue leds long ago. I tried converting some extra hvac controls I had laying around and gave up, and I’m pretty good at that stuff. In 03 they changed and it’s easy to figure out.

My first one in a long time. Did the auto EQ where you hook up a mic and let it run to measure each speaker and set time delay. Cool stuff. Sounds good, even with stock Bose.

Did you have to purchase a mic for the auto eq?

How come we're not seeing any threads on the Vic :D?

I looked briefly in the section where the build threads are and couldn’t really find any non GM ones, I love this forum when I had the Caddy it’s a great group of people, I’d gladly do a build thread on the Vic if whoever is in charge of this forum gave me the ok to do a non GM build thread

I do not see a issue for a build thread for your Vic. As I recall some members here have [or still have] Vic's as their beater vehicle. I had a 4.6 Vic for a beater until insurance got so high in South Florida.

Just start the build thread in the other vehicle section then maybe it could be moved over the under construction section.

There is some love for the Vic's here.
