What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Having my first issue at 191k. Cylinder 6 misfire, P0206, led me down the rabbit hole. I first took the valve cover off and observed all the rockers which appeared to be rocking, no loose rocker bearings, no bent lifters, no signs of collapsed lifters. I then went under the intake manifold and before removing injectors, I tested resistance on them. I'm getting 1.3-1.4ohms across the board, except for #6 which is fluctuating in the mega-ohm ranges.

From what info I've gathered so far, these fuel line are one time use and will need replaced, correct?

Anything else you guys recommend looking into while I'm in here?

I would look at your intake valves for carbon build up

Does it sound like a spark plug leak as it misfires?
You can always do a compression test on cylinder 6.

I'd remove the injectors (they come out one side at a time) and see if any of the o-rings have issues if you have the intake already off. Also, when you put them back in, GM has a new little thing that you slide on to help them seat properly and seal properly.

MBRP exhaust and new front struts installed today. Took me 2h at a rent a hoist place. Not bad. The exhaust is nice a bit loud but I like it. The suspension is now all refreshed.

There doesn't appear to be a spark plug leak. The readings that I'm getting from my multimeter test are leading me to change the injector and see how it runs after that. I also switched ignition coil 6 and 2, so if that's contributing to the issue, the code should follow it.

Currently struggling to get the fuel rail off. I've watched a few videos where the guys pop it off my hand, but mine feels like it's welded down lol might be the first time it's ever been pulled on my truck because it's on there good.

And yeah, I plan on doing new o-rings when it goes back on. Do you have a picture of the gm tool your describing? I saw a video of something that allows them to slide onto the injectors easily, just want to make sure we're talking about the same thing.

No at highway speeds I am at around 1700rpm at 70mph and I have not heard it actually quiets down quite a bit. And once you get over 2000rpm it kinda wakes up and becomes throaty. Its a bit louder than I want it but there is always an option to upgrade the muffler for a different or longer one to quiet down even more but I absolutely love how agressive it sounds.

I believe they're called umbrella seals.
They're the white pieces (that look like lifesaver mints) in this screen shot from YouTube.

Yeah, I did end up getting the new seal kit that came with the umbrellas and the o-rings and yup, I replaced them all.

I got it all back together yesterday. When I first started it up, it was still running rough. But I used my scanner to clear the cel codes, let it sit overnight, then tried it again today and it was back to running smooth. For the sake of future planning, I plan to change the rest of injector soon. Because if one fails, the others might not be far behind.

Driven in michigan all of its life. Prior owner put about 55k miles a year, oil changes every 6 weeks at 6k miles. Motor is in perfect shape and so is the underside. I guess the daily airflow around the vehicle dried it up nicely and kept the salt from working its magic. Its sitting at 253k miles right now. I am going to run 3 or 4 OCI with Valvoline R&P and then do a tune up and keep rocking it to as many miles as I can put on it. Goal is 400k on OEM motor and trans. Going for a record.

Have done quite a bit of preventative maintenance recently, as well as had the Eibach Pro Truck Lift stage 1 installed on my 2018 LS .

Transmission fluid / filter change
Transfer case fluid change
Front / rear differential fluid
Replaced Plugs and wires
Replaced Thermostat and oil temp sensor
new metal skid plate installed.

I rolled over 200,000kms and am planning on keeping this rig another 5 - 7 years, so wanted to get all this maintenance done. Suspension feels so much nicer with the eibach shocks and springs. CV axles have been replaced once before around 170,000km.

Any remedy short of new ones? I hit a few with a syringe last year and they came back worse.

WELL crapadoodle the wife managed to f-uk up two wheels and tires in one shot, in her defense I did teach her to drive I just have more experience at breaking stuff
thankfully all we have are gm's so 2 spares are on it for now and she was only a mile away

If you are going through the hassle of swapping headlights, i hope your getting the Morimoto's. I love mine, so much better then stock
