Got the Suburban tinted. That ceramic stuff is no joke! Heat rejection is incredible.

Had an unbearable screeching grinding sound emerge from the passenger side brakes last week. Would be noticeable at low speeds and disappear when I'd put on the brakes. Initially thought passenger front, turned out to be passenger rear.
I knew I was due for new brake pads anyways and had OEM pads sitting in the garage ready to install.
Decided to just replace all the brake pads today. Very quick and easy on these removing the lower caliper bolt, flipping it up, swapping pads, compressing the piston(s) and flipping it back down.

All 4 corners have new fresh pads now.

Screeching from passenger rear brake was the metal brake pad clip touching the rotor when turning right. Gone now with new pads and adjusting the brake pad clip.

What does a ceramic tint go for in your area ? Just 2 windows?
So it was 360$ for the entire truck including windshield. I got the 2 windows and sunroof tinted for 160 and on second appointment they will tint the rest of it for 200 with highest grade ceramic tint. I’m still surprised how you don’t feel any heat in your arm when the sun is shining through the glass. Should be perfect for summer when this black thing gets hot.

That seems like a pretty good price.

What % tint did you use on the front 2 doors compared to the to the windshield, sun roof, and rest of the truck?

30% on front. 50% on sunroof.

Windshield will be 70% (it got a crack and needs replaced which is why we did not do it now) and the rear windows will be either 70 or 50. The rears do not need to be darker I just want the heat rejection and the safety if they ever were to break, it will keep the window stable so the passengers (kisa) don't get hit with glass pieces.

put the stock air intake back on loose (not bolted in) going to see if the blackbear tune doesn't make it throw a code by the time get to the smog shop tomorrow and get it smoged
if it throws a code I have the autocal loaded up to put the stock ecm tune back on and then i'll have to drive it a couple days like that to get the monitors set again.
Then I can throw the cai back on again for another 2 years....
only takes about 15 minutes to swap the intakes no need to go spend another $500 for a legal one....
all it is a money grab by the state for a sticker, makes no difference on emissions.

Had corsa resonator installed on my corsa exhaust. Gotta admit i loved the loudness first full year of the corsa exhaust but waking up the kids at midnight with coldstarts at midnight 5 days a week was no fun. It was like a 50 50 gamble in my opinion it was gonna either work or not do a damn thing haha. It worked startups are quieter, in town driving is quiter but when I open her up it sounds amazing maybe even a little deeper and more refined then before

Swapped my grille for honeycomb. I like the oem RST unit but mine is damaged due to bird strike and it needs to be welded professionally. It may go back on it some day but for now I’m liking this new one a lot.
