What button opens tailgate?

I seem to have hit something by accident and left the tailgate open. How do you open it automatically - i.e. raise it? I left with the tailgate closed and when came back, saw it open, weird.

It's the button on your key fob just over the red horn button.

I'm guessing that's what OP means... but just to clarify, there's also a button on the tailgate under the applique (above the license plate) and another one inside on the overhead console.

I don't have a keyfob or anything just the key.

how do I get the keyfob made? remote unlock /lock

Dealership or can a private business do it?
cost?

You can pick one up on ebay for $15-$20 and program it yourself. Super easy. Most of them come with instructions but going through the options on your dash's info center basically tells you how to do it.

Hmm. Now I got to look. I learned something new today.

There's a switch that opens and closes it near the front dome light alongside a switch that shuts off the auto open/close function

This button on the overhead console must be a special option. I only have 3 switches in front of my dome light and the manual states those are for the automatic garage door opener.

EDIT:
Console button is only for the POWER LIFT GATE option. Guess I should have read a little further.

I'm guessing that's what OP means... but just to clarify, there's also a button on the tailgate under the applique (above the license plate) and another one inside on the overhead console.

The one on the overhead console opens the whole tailgate. The one above the license plate opens the top glass portion. Hope that helps.
