What are ya’lls plans with engine/chassis when it’s quitting time?

One the rust situation gets to bad on mine I plan to take the motor and trans out to swap into another project. Either my C10 or the C3 vette. Or whatever I pick up for it.

Mild built 5.3 with a 6 speed sounds like a perfect cruiser engine combo to me.

My '02 Z71 is going strong, fresh built 4l60e with 90% of the Sonnax goodies. Looking to do a 4.10 swap front and rear. Would love to build out 6.0L but being in CA, carb refs on engine swaps are a pita... 408 dreams...

Visually the 6.0 looks exactly like a 4.8 and 5.3. I have a 6.0 in my Tahoe and you can't even tell--until it's started lol.

Might be more of a pain in the @$$ to transplant a 6.0L in CA vs other states, but I bet you're a resourceful fella, ain't'cha?
Hoping for an L77 myself, but any 6.0L (iron or alum) would be an improvement over any 5.3L, even an LQ4, trick is to use catholic heads.
