I received anemail from OnStar saying my tires were flat.

I took a look at my My Chevy app and see the information, all tires are around 35- 36 psi, and the recommended tire pressure is 556? ( see attached).

????????

When my Blazer was in the shop for 40 days to get a new tranny, OnStar told me my battery was low and it was. GM put a new battery in my Blazer with a new tranny. It was then Lemon Lawed and I got the Tahoe pictured in my profile. There were other problems that got the Lemon Law activated.

Depending on the year — with GM, Ford and Dodge - if you. Can find someone with an Aurelio tire tool - you can modify the pressures .

the 550 is probably in KPA which would be about 75psi . Normal in heavier trucks > funny my truck, spec pressures are 40/35 f/r

but looking at your dashboard warning you may need a software reprogramming .

I think it's a glitch in the MyGMC\MyChevy App. The 23 Yukon Denali shows it needs air in the app, but not on the dash, same for the 23 Sierra 2500HD Denali, shows low tire pressure in the app, yet the dash doesn't display any issues. I find the phone app's are buggy, I just use it to start them as I am too lazy.

disconnect the battery, touch the cables together for a few second and re-attach, that may resolve any "glitches"
certainly couldn't hurt and saves a trip to the dealer if it resolves it.

The glitches are in the phone app, not on the vehicle itself. Resetting your vehicle won't fix this.

it was just a suggestion, these vehicles have glitchy software period, this is well documented.
they said onstar, which "shouldn't be a stand alone phone app, but either way restarting it and/or clearing the cache will do the same thing
a onstar error could be passed over to the "chevy" app which is on the phone, I doubt that the chevy app would pass it over to onstar but anything is possible... since onstar isn't really 2-way "satellite" which they make it out to be, no cell service, no onstar when you push the button (it will just say unable to connect), with no cell service it only can receive gps signals.
