Volume stuck on “Navigation Volume”

I think Apple car play is buggy and my 2022 Z71 sometimes gets stuck on Navigation Volume and I can’t adjust the music volume. Haven’t figured out any rhyme or reason till it happens or what exactly to do to fix it. It’s infrequent but when it happens it’s very frustrating.
