I'm doing the valley pan gasket, knock sensors, intake manifold gasket etc on '05 Tahoe 5.3. Can anyone tell me...

Valley pan cover bolt torque and sequence
Intake manifold bolt torque and sequence

I'm seeing conflicting info online. Thanks!

I am wondering if there is any sequence on the Valley Pan torque...
I did not see any when I Googled.

The torque is pretty light... 18 lb ft is not exactly cranked on there that tight. Possible there is no sequence?

Others will tell you more than I can on dealing with the Valley Pan torque.

I was wondering the same. I think to be safe (if no one says otherwise) I may just run them cross pattern like the intake

Cross pattern doesn't hurt, but the valley pan isn't super critical to get perfect. Good clamping force even at low torque with all those fasteners, and a nice soft thick gasket to make a good seal.

I don't even use a torque wrench on them. Just run em down "about right". Never had one leak.

Well I guess neither of my click torque wrenches goes down low enough for the intake. Guess I'll have to guess a little
