Update - Driver memory question.

Hey all. So i hop in my truck tonight (03 Yukon Denali ) to go to work and normally key in hear a beep and seat and driver memory kicks in. Tonight no beep and no driver settings.
If I push driver 1 all is normal. On key out no beep but interior light comes on but no easy exit setting.

Where to start looking?

I did add a new remote about a week ago. Been good so far.

Did you try a different remote? Sounds like your settings might've gotten messed up. Did you go into settings to see if they're still the same?

Yeah no change in settings. Almost like it doesn't know a key is in ignition. Will try a different remote when I get home.

Freaking thing is possessed. Came out at lunch break and all is well. But it decided Spanish was better for me. LOL

Got it from Boost Auto. New look with old guts inside.

Weird update. In the dic it keeps saying driver 1 reset and wipes out all settings. Turns all user settings off. Pain in the &$##^!@ a$$.

Maybe a faulty switch or wiring? Driving me nuts.

I would pull the fob apart and check it out then reassemble it. Maybe one of the buttons is getting pushed repeatability and causing it to reset. That’s the one thing that changed.

And while you have it apart clean both sides of each switch contact surface. Use electronics cleaner or 91% isopropyl alcohol.

Pulled out all the steering wheel switches and found the lower right is screwed. Shorting out. Just ordered 4 new switches Crossing my fingers. It keeps resorting to spanish in the settings and is making me crazy.
