From plastic products to crawfish lol

So I think I need some of this. Gonna check locally first tho. Need to plastic weld a marker light

Right? That quarter bending stunt blew my mind. Jenn questioned my enamored expression as I was watching the video. I couldn't explain to her the gravity of what I had just witnessed.

Think that part of it was real? I questioned that part myself.

Their counter display is a bent quarter glued to a PVC TEE. It takes a few times to figure out the mixture. The stuff sets up in minutes. I like that you can drill and tap it, dremel it, etc.

The vid looked real. Unless that quarter was secretly attached by other, stronger means or it was a fake quarter made of a softer material. I'm optimistic about this stuff, though.

A couple more vids. I can see both products be very helpful when working on plastic interior parts and you break a mounting tab or crack a piece of molding

Just one of those plastic fold-up tables. Around here, they're affectionately known as "crawfish tables" because they're ideal for eating crawfish off of. Being plastic makes them easy to be cleaned and since they're usually stored until crawfish season, being foldable is another ideal feature. A piece of heavy angle iron fell over and cut the corner of mine. A hole will let the spicy seafood juices get inside the table and it'll stink, so I need a permanent patch for it.

Clear would be nice to have. I believe it was originally developed to repair PVC which it does very well. It is nice that you can dye it any color you want. You can also make a mold out of clay and pour the Plastaid in to it and it sets up pretty fast. I wish I could afford a good quality 3D printer.

ShoeGoo is another great product for bonding. It bonds all kind of different materials together and also flexes slightly.. like hard rubber.
Originally for shoe repair, can be used for all kinds of things.
- i have fixed motorcycle fairings with it, couch leather tears, etc.
- you can add any acrylic paint to the clear shoogoo to match the leather color and fix tears in car seats, etc.

Had to add this one. Griots makes an extended reach brush for reaching the back side of the wheels, but you need an open spoke design for them to really work. I think they are sold in a set of 3

Why not use a $2 toilet brush? Or is that for the people that can totally clean their cars with nothing more than a California Duster (after they've rolled their car out of the box trailer at the car show).

To each his own. I've used a few different types and this one works better than the bristled type brushes, plus it's easier to use on the tighter spoke design wheels. Just checked and I paid $15.50 with shipping of eBay for a pack of three.

I didn't mean to come across as snippy. I just read "Griot's" and saw $$$, but I guess around $5 isn't bad for a purpose-built brush. Also, I'd never be able to clean my wheels without something with some firm scrubbing bristles due to the brake dust. Maybe if I washed and wiped them after every drive. But, it's a Tahoe and not an Enzo that I drive once a month to a Cars and Coffee meet.

Don't sweat it. Those and their air freshener is the only thing I get from them. Those brushes actually do a great job getting the the caked on stuff off.
