been cleaning an painting a few things today bolting all my new parts onto the block gonna start dropping it in tomorrow night or saturday morning! Super stoked! Then im going wait on my tune to get here before i ever fire it up!That's awsome. It will run perfectly fine on the 5.3 tune. I drove mine 3 hours to the tuners. They just said no to punch it but the o2 and mass air flow will compensate. Have fun looks awsomeGot the 6.0 today!been cleaning an painting a few things today bolting all my new parts onto the block gonna start dropping it in tomorrow night or saturday morning! 3:73 gears. I think I am over my GCWR. But it’s not for long. Going to buy a 3500 diesel when I find one with out a million miles. What gear ratios does this truck have? Saw your photos with the trailer attached and was wondering what your GCWR might be.
Yes I know I could be in some trouble if I get pulled over. But it’s the chance I have to take for now. There is a bigger truck in my near future. I think the last owners ordered it with the 3:73 gears. I am the second owner and know the original owners. My biggest concern twining is the tranny. I did all the steps to help prolong the enedibitable but it has tones of power and handles well.2WD Tahoes came with 3.73s and a Max Trailer Weight of 7,700 pounds with a GCWR of 13,000 lbs. The 4WDs had either 3.42s or 4.10s and 7,500 or 7,800 and 13K or 14K respectively. Your LQ9 can certainly handle it but you might get a ticket for running over.
It's a nice looking truck.
