Truck bounces while braking

I replaced my Front rotors and brakes and still had a shake/bounce... the tire shop looked at my front rotors said they were fine and blamed the rear drums.. i changed the rear brakes (everything) and still have a bounce occationally while braking and sometimes just when i'm towing my boat/trailer.. any ideas?

Rotate the tires and see if the same happens. Might be belt in tire gone bad.

I thought that too... ment to say, I had the tires ballanced/rotated as well

Try removing the giant yellow ballons tied to the back of the Tahoe

exactly how does it "bounce"?

The dash and seats shake/bounce.. I don't feel it in the steering wheel...

Almost sounds like rear brakes are grabbing and you are flexing the rear leaf springs. Are you runnig any kind of helper springs or Air Ride bags?

They are sailing marks.. I race a 15' catamaran sailboat.. I had them on there to take them down the beach to the chase boat.. It's a good walk otherwise..

that has got to be something grabbing in the brake like surface contamination no warps or something is loose in the suspension. there is no other explanation i can think of right now.

OK, stupid question.....Is this happeneing at the same place on the same road/drive/ramp, etc. It might not be your truck but the road surface. Having trailer would exaberate the situation even more. I have a local road that looks good, looks flat and yet every time my wife or I drive on it we swear the front end is going to fall off. There are micro ripples in the surface from the way pavers compacted(rolled) the finished blacktop. I hit that road on the bike one time and I thought I was loosing the front wheel. A stop light is near this and when I hit brakes moderately hard the whole truck shakes like a wheel is loose. Just a thought........

Or brakes on the trailers. Btw what braking system is installed on the trailer. Electric. Hydraulic.
