Another day, more front end issues with my 17 Yukon XL Denali. When I brake hard, and am just about to stop, I hear what sounds like brake pad metal on rotor from front passenger side. I just put on new calipers, pads, and rotors in the front and the old pads and rotors still had lots of life (I did an upgrade since I wanted heavier brakes), so I know it is not low braje pads brakes. Noise was there before brake upgrade. When I come to a stop with no brakes, no noise. When I press on the brake and accelerator at the same time at low speed to put a forward load on the suspension, no noise. I think the noise might be related to the front end dipping when breaking hard. Also, when I jam on the brakes at highway speeds, I get a momentary pull to right that only lasts a fraction of a second before she straightens out everthing brakes normally. I thought the pull might be tire inflation related, since right tire is 29 while left is 30. Because of another problem, I have replaced struts, sway bar links, sway bar bushings, and cv joints. While my first thought was bearings, the facts that the noise is not there on a coasting stop, or when pressing on brake and accelerator, makes me think it has to do with dipping of front end. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
