Tow/Haul Won't Work

I had to tow a friend home last night and i went to push the button for the tow/haul and i didn't kick in. Does any body know what could be wrong?

There are threads in here that address the problem or just search the web for that problem as there is a simple repair but a little fiddly with the small wires.

take off the steering column and see broken wires at the base of the shift lever. Fix broken wire. That's what was wrong with mine.

Same here, Broken wire. Easy fix!

Usually happens if you use the tilt feature a lot...
