I had run a tank or 2 of Techron and it had done a little cleaning.

Techron itself IS a very good product.. One of the best.
It DOES help to clean up fuel sending units and correct fuel gauge failures
on many C5 corvettes etc that are known to have issues with the sulfur building up

To add: I don't think there are very many additives that can really "clean" up
all the oil and crap in the intake tracts. That's a manual labor job !!!
But I do use fuel additives like techron & lucas to help lubricate the fuel pump
and keep the injectors themselves cleaner
