Ohh--forgot--had to change the serpentine belt yesterday, was 1/2 shredded. Had to use a bigger belt--as before since getting the 160 amp alt.

So after getting the stall convertor, I'd like to monitor the trans temp. I don't want to add an external gauge and to add the trans temp to your stock cluster is like $80-$100. Too much I think. So I start looking around on cl--again! If you have enough patience, you will be rewarded. I found an Escalade cluster, from an 04-05. Guy says everything works, but he lives in NYC. No offense, but I refuse to drive in NYC! So we meet up on the nj turnpike. :secret: very Soprano-ish, lol. Tells me everything works. I believe him and pay for it. Was cheap at $80. That should've told me something. I get home and a few days later I plug it in--nothing, completely dead. I'm not mad, just a little angry, there's a difference. I called him right away. He swears everything worked when he had it. I actually laughed at him. I wasn't sweating it. I bought it cheap enough. It still had the trans gauge that I needed. I had it rebuilt, cost me $89. I'm still ahead of the game, and I put blue leds in! Everything works now, even the prndl.View attachment 80144 View attachment 80143I found out my stock cluster was a reman too. Of course that prndl didn't work. View attachment 80145
Only thing I'm not crazy about are those round gray rings in the Esky cluster. I'm used to them now tho.
Will any escalade cluster work on an '03 tahoe?

Worked your ass off, rims, weed whacking and still have to park curbside and hope the fence let's you in. And hope some other curbside stealing ******* across the street take your spot like I have to deal with. Anyway good job.
Actually parking around me is great lol, so I'm super lucky there.

I was doing that every day on the way to work last week until I got hit with a ticket for 30 over the limit. It’s in the neighboring state though so I got it deferred, pay $150 and it doesn’t go on my record.
