Install was pretty straight forward, so I'll skip the boring details.

This is how I installed the led fogs. I just mounted them to the plastic lower valance. They hold on well enough and don't seem to really shake around.

Really lights the road up at night.

I'm feeling the love:buttkick:
So.... I hate chrome and I've always liked the Denali rear bumper. After scouring cl, I found a Denali rear bumper painted in my color, SCORE! Had to drive 2hrs, again, and to another state, but it was worth it. Got it for a steal too.

Man, your state is tiny...
I drove 2 hours to get wheels for my truck, and didn't even completely cross the narrow part of Michigan.
8 hours to get out of the state going north, or about 5 hours going to the south.

Nice bumper!

Lol, east to west is a few hrs, north to south it's maybe 6-8 hrs.
That's cute ;)
Lol, Jersey is far from cute! :secret:

I highly recommend doing the catch can install. Catches all the oil that would go into your dry intake. Easy install. For me, all I did was cut the rubber hose going to my pcv and put the catch can in between it. Added some more hose, and done! Works like a charm. I used an existing bolt coming from the brake booster/ master cylinder, as I hate drilling holes if I don't have to. Added a new pcv, just because. View attachment 79947 View attachment 79949 View attachment 79951Can doesn't hit or touch anything. Perfect spot for me.

Which can is that?

Lol, yeah, yeah. I bowed to peer pressure. Man! Just doing this I've realized how much I've done. I didn't realize it was so much, big things, little things, lots.
It takes a good look at what all we've done in order to really comprehend it. It's kind of like a life; taken one day at a time it doesn't seem like much has happened until one day you look back at all of it.

Onward we go. I think I'm going to go a little out of order, according to when I did certain mods.
Grabbed a Volant cai from a fellow tyf member. Came with the cold air scoop and dry filter.

Installation was a snap. Down scoop bolted to the same location as the passenger side tow hook. Stealthy.

Installed. Just giving the pedal 1/4 throttle sounds amazing. Sounds like you're romping on it. Roars like crazy.

I decided to put leds in my reverse lights and rear turn signal lights. Backups we're nice and bright, which was really helpful at night. But, I was getting the dreaded hyperflash from the turn signals and my cruise control no longer worked. Some guys use a module in the underdash fuse panel and some guys, like me, wire in resistors to the rear bulbs.

Again, I hate drilling holes if I don't have to. Resistors cured the hyperflash and my cruise works again. Nice!

Also did my rear license plate bulbs.

I was able to get a 7" dd Pioneer. All the capabilities except for nav. Don't need it.

Ripped out the old and put in the new. I also mounted the Bluetooth mic on the overhead console. Really good clarity on calls.

Also wired into my JL Audio amp and Pioneer 12" sub in a ported box.

It's weird but those old school style leds are still some of the brightest.
Look good.
You should bolt those resistors, they get crazy hot and are prone to come apart. (2 little tiny holes no one will notice)
I thought you got a denali engine cover, wonder how that would fit with the catch can:hmm:

Also Debadge dat ass already.:893karatesmiley-thu

I've had the Hoe since 2012 and I've never changed the shocks, so I figured I might as well. Found a complete set of kyb excels online. Supposedly was compatible with my ZW7 suspension, which is something like the deluxe riding suspension. So I snagged them.
Fronts.

Look at the size difference.

These shocks are definitely NOT compatible with the ZW7 suspension. Bought them from shock warehouse.com. I called them to see if they would do something for me since the Hoe was riding worse then before and actually felt dangerous now. Swayed side to side in the rear at normal highway speeds. Guy basically called me a liar and said what was I to expect from a shock that costs way less then a stock ZW7 shock. I recommend staying away from those guys! And stay away from these shocks if you have the ZW7 suspension. Waste of money Imo.

Just like me, I'm old school but I'm bright as fu*k! Lol. I like the Photoshop job!
I was thinking of getting another center cover from a 6.0. The one that says Vortec 6000.

Here takes a day to travel from one end to the other. And that's not even half the state lol.
I remember I went from Seattle to vegas (4 states) and was still under a day lol.
