Can you guys see the misalignment?View attachment 262628
From the pwr steering to the alternator.
I wonder if it's because of the ear the bolt goes through.View attachment 262629
Maybe grind it down flush with the alt case--to bring the whole thing closer to the front of the alt bracket, so it lines up with the pwr steering pulley. Maybe some thick washers behind the back end of the bolt that holds it to the bracket--to help move the alt forward.
What do you guys think? Any suggestions?
X2. Wow.What's this ground wire jammed under the bolt head shit with no eyelet connector?![]()
I didn't have time to mess with it today unfortunately.Update from last night?

That was me. I didn't have any of the proper connectors at the time. Been so long I don't even remember what it was for now.X2. Wow.
I'll have to do that. Just gotta pick up brake fluid and some of that ****** universal antifreeze now.yeah what the hell is that bare wire?
if he changed a caliper it might have been off for days and he let it al drain from the master. not know what this dick head did, id start with bleeding the master. i put a wrench on the line nuts off the master, crack em free, snug em back up, then have some one pump the brakes and hold em, then you wrap a rag around the wrench and line nut and crack it open, if theres air you will hear it spit out. do that like 3 times per line. then bleed the calipers.

I just want to top it off. Next few nights it's supposed to drop below freezing.I don't think I'd be super worried about the antifreeze it must be better than the water we Floridians run.![]()

If I drank I'd piss in it--you know, high alcohol content won't freezeI get that but since its already cheap stuff I'd probably top it off with water or the cheapest crap you can find that won't freeze![]()

I haven't driven it in a year. Time flies--kind of. I'm old too, so I forget shit lol.

Yup, Can't Remember Shit! You suffer from CRS too huh?
Absolutely! I was gonna mess with it today, but it's been windy and cold I didn't want to do anything today. Supposed to warm up either Friday or Saturday. So far--bleed brakes, turn signals, fix the shifter--just feels really loose--anti freeze, wheel alignment--had him do both upper control arms--when money allows, buy another damn set of fronts brakes and rotors since some scumbag stole the set I left in the truck for him to swap, eventually buy ANOTHER set of Taylor wires, and most important thing--figure out why it keeps throwing the belt. I think that's the most aggravating for me. Oh--gotta figure out what to do about tires on what rims.Shit Tony, I just read up on everything since you picked it up. Stupid email notifications stopped again. So it sounds like you just have a few minor things to fix hopefully. The important thing is that you have it back and it sounds like it’s running good. Just figure out that belt, the brakes and turn signals. Must be a good feeling to have it back.![]()

I got those ppv rims on with bald tires. Idk if I should put these tires--pretty sure they're all season--View attachment 262802 View attachment 262803 View attachment 262804
And use this setup as winter wheels, and use my Denali rims and tires for summer. Has Wrangler HP's on it.View attachment 262805
Opinions? Denali rims and HP's for summer/winter?
Duratec tires for winter on the Denali rims? PPV rims and HP's for summer?
BTW--Duratecs are 265 65 17's, HP's are 265 70 17.
Lol, I hope I'm not being too confusing.
I would run the duratracs on the steel for winter. They will ROCK in the snow. Trust me, You will be impressed.Yup, Can't Remember Shit!

Along with the snowflake symbol. So throw those on the PPV wheels since they have baldies on them IMO.see that M&S on the side wall, means mud and snow. those will work for winter for sure.
