Tires on AWD

Is the AWD on these trucks a 50/50 or does the front/back wear harder? If so, does the rear wear faster then the front?

My GF's rears are worn way more the fronts though

no matter if its awd or 2wd expect the front to have less rubber overtime due to turning the wheels while not moving wastes your tires. just keep them the same size also remember to match your spare tire just in case but might not be needed if u have open differentials. i always had to buy aether new tires or even matching used tires of the same brand for my audi quattro(awd).

i second that unless your foot is heavy.. if you accelerate hard (not necessarily spinning them but driving like your in a hurry) as a daily driver like some people do it puts alot of wear on your back tires. if this is so just rotate them often from the beginning. but dont put real worn tires on the front you wont your steering tires to have the best tread if two are worn and two are not

Yeah back tires wear quicker with a heavy foot, but then up front due to camber, toe and simple turning the steering the front tires wear alot quicker!BTW, the two tires with more tread are suppose to be a the back, not front, prevents oversteer and control loss!!

I think the AWD is 60/40 but more power goes to the rear when awd is not needed. It constantly adjusts power between the front and back.
