Tire Size...

I am looking to go ahead with a 2/3 Drop. What would be the widest tire I could run on my 16x8 rims and still keep my factory overall tire size? around 31.5"...

Current tire size is 245/75/16. Thinking of maybe a 275/70/16????

i just got 22s and run a 305. i checked about the 2/3 drop and was told id be fine so you should be too

All season, sticky tire for any condition and they're great in snow. I guess you could buy something a bit more sporty but it isn't a car so I'd roll burlier tires until you get bigger wheels.

max, what would you recommend for the stock 17" rims? Going to need new ones soon and was wanting to go a little wider.

285/65/17 would be the widest I'd go on stock wheels. You'll need a lift or wider wheels to go any bigger.

you'd go with a 65 series as opposed to 70 series with stock height?

You'll lose some power going with a taller than stock tire. The 65 series are close to the stock 265/70/17 just wider.
