Long story short my 2007 chevy tahoe rear door handle broke, which apparently is a common issue so i took it upon myself to replace it myself. I figured i would replace all 4 doors with chrome door handles. Well after cursing many times and cutting my hands I finally get the door handle off. I dropped the screw that connects to the acutator and the handle inside the door and could not reach it. I figured i would take it to the chevy dealer in the next couple days. I throw everything back together. When i was done i realized i forgot to connect the inner door handle. My problem is now you cannot open the door from the inside or the outside. Am i royally screwed? or does anyone no of a method of me to fix the inside door handle until i have enough time to take it to the dealership to get repaired.the vehicle is a 2007 chevy tahoe.

Just take it back apart and get a flex magnet and get the screw. Seems like a straightforward operation

Tough one. Call or visit the dealer and explain what happened. Ask them if they can do it without damaging anything and how much. If the say they have to cut the door panel you could probably save the flat rate and do that yourself.
Also, go on alldatadiy.com. You can get an exploded view of the linkage, etc to get a better idea of where the linkage connects. Alldatadiy is under twenty bucks per year. It gives you TONS of parts, service, TSB's, procedures, etc for your vehicle.
