Tech 2 on 2014 Tahoe?

Can anyone confirm if the Tech 2 works for the 2014 Tahoe? The seller that I was going to purchase from says that it "did not work". Maybe someone can point me to a reliable seller. The ad also said that it was not for trucks.I assumed that this meant commercial vehicles?

I think I read somewhere that 2014 and newer models require GDS2 which is laptop based.

It should work as to my knowledge, GM didn't change a thing on the Tahoe compared with the 2013. A couple guys bought them for their 2014s and I asked them to check but they never got back to me on here. Been trying to check myself but no joy yet.
