today i primered my box finally fixed my hvlp gun and sprayed it today..will sand tomarrow with 600 grit and then add my base coat and sand again..finally il add a clear coat and sand with 2000 grit wetsandpaper and polish it

You gonna color match the enclosure? loving the kerfed port walls. i can never put this kind of detail into a box because i get too antsy and just want to hear it. My next build i will go the extra mile just like this. I got 4 15's sitting here waiting for a build and its driving me nuts.

jaja thanks guys primer came out pretty good it took me about an hor to set up my gun and make it spray the way i wanted to..bt the results make it worth the time

no the enclosure will ne glossy black..the kerfs are the only colormatched part of it..jaja i get you dude i have two months now without bass in my tahoe and it kills me everytime i put some music on. bt if your patient anf wait enough its worth it man theres no better feeling than when someone sees your work and asks who did it for you and you can say it was all done by you..take your time on it your next build and keep me posted when you get it started

today i wet sanded my box and now its smooth as a babys butt.! tomarrow gonna lay the base coat on it il update when i get it painted tomarrow..cant really tell a difference that its sanded by pics

today my box is finally painted black..i asbolutly love the results tomarrow i will sand with 2000 grit and make it super smooth and add a clear coat and sand again and finally polish hopefully by monday its up and bumping

my only issue is u change my mind a lot, sometimes the box isnt tuned right so i gotta rebuild it to get the right tuning... maybe i should look into plug ports haha, i would hate to put all that work into a box and then find out it lacks in the lows, or highs and then have to tear it all back out.

okay soo i coudnt wait sooo i had to test these subs out to see how they sound..and i can only say that they went beyond my expectations great subs!!!! i hooked them up on monday and they were very still but still got as loud as my older l7s but sounded 10X cleaner..its been a couple days now and everyday i feel they get lower and louder couldn't be more satisfied..now this is jst the box and subs and amp hooked up quick as tomorrow i will take it back down to finish the details on it..look at the reflection and shine on the box..and that is without the clear coat..i have to paint my amp rack to match the box and once that is done it will all go back on
the blancket is only so the box wont rub on the wood and scratch the paint lol
