Needing to get all new hardware for my 05 Yukon XL's sunroof assembly, as the plastic parts have all gone brittle and broken due to the Bahrain sun. I'd prefer to order through Amazon (free shipping to FPO addresses overseas, eBay shipping ain't cheap) and I'm trying to tell if there's any difference between the parts for GMT800s and the Trailblazer/Envoy sunroofs. To me, the parts look identical. Amazon doesn't have a kit for GMT800s, but they do for the Trailblazer/Envoy. Anyone know?

Presuming the 05 Yukon has identical sunroof assembly as 99-06 Tahoes, you should be careful. I’ve just finished taking apart my Tahoe sunroof assembly to fix the broken plastic arms that operate the front deflector, and after watching lots of videos on maintenance for the sunroof assembly for the Trailblazer, it’s pretty clear that they are different components. Depending on what’s broken in your Yukon, you can try Ebay and search for 99-06 GM sunroof repair kit. That’s what works for the Tahoes and Suburbans, and potentially the Yukons of the same model years. Good luck.
