Yeah I'm probaly gonna sell my sundowns and up next summer but that's just because I want to. They aren't bad subs at all and they sound pretty good.

RE audio quality is not much better. You can look into the brands I listed along with DC audio or some mainstream brands like RF and Alpine.

I had 4 12's in the back on my bronco in high school 14 years ago... all you need now a days is 1 high end sub and amp and you are good to go...

I've got 1 10" JL audio W7 and a JL mono block 500 watt amp... it hits really f'in hard...

You could easily push that sub 1000 watts RMS.

I know... an I know it would hit even deeper, but my problem w/ the 1000 is where to put it... the 500 fits under my back seat

Do you have captain seats or bench?
The Slash 1000/v2 and 1200/v3 have the same height as the Slash 500/v2 so they can all fit under your seat height wise. Now with captains the Slash 1000/v2 and Slash 1200/v3 would be too long to fit under one of the two captain seats.
If you have bench seats you are good to go.

You can put it on your backseat. Thats where mine is.
You could also put it where I put my RF T1500.1bdCP.
