Been looking for a sub box for the yukon that doesnt take much space. I hadnt really found anything I liked so was looking at making one to go between the rear buckets seats.

My idea was to have a down fire sub and was looking to add cup holders and a lid like on the front console (was going to make a small storage area for the Headsets) so it would match. So was searching ebay for parts and came across this box.

Any thoughts on this box? I would still add to it with some cup holders and a storage area.

Looks like a nice enclosure, Adding Cup holders and a center piece to hold things would be a great addition. Just make sure it's not too tall so that the passengers can still look into it when storing stuff.

I used to have this box. It was great. Didn't have to sacrifice rear cargo area for a little boom. :) The only thing I would say to look out for is the depth of the sub you plan to install it in. The box you have pictured for $199 is exact one I had. The sub that comes with it, is a shallow mount, so depth of box is thinner. I later wanted to put a CVX in there, but the box was to shallow. That was the main reason I got rid of mine... other than that great box. Isn't too obvious that you have a sub for those theives that are out there.
