Do you have the dual 4 ohm or single 4 ohm subs?
Also what is your budget, and do you have any preferred brands?

Well if its a dual voice coil then its a dual 4 ohm, the link you showed only shows single 4 ohm and dual 4 ohm as a option. Well if you want a mono amp then I would go with something in the 600-800 rms @ 1 ohm range. I would do 800 rms so you aren't pushing the amp to its max all the time and have a little bit of overhead room with power. Well are we talking $100, $150, $400? just give me a ballpark range

With three kids and the fact I just wrecked and and I am fixing outta pocket probably $200-$300 price range cheaper is better. As long as it's going to last.

As I stated above setup is going in my wife's Tahoe in January of next year. And she doesn't blast or listen to music really loud. I hope that helps.

to tell what ohms the subs are you can see in the bottom or anywhere around the magnet of the subs
you cant go wring with this amp
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_45519_Alpine-MRX-M55.html

ive had four of the earlier model before and love these amps..they send clean sound and are pretty compact and not to big

That amp will not work if it they are dual 4 ohm subs.

This would be a good choice if you would like to stick with the same brand MTX

This would be a good cheaper option.

The Alpine amp posted by Josueh95 looks and specs almost identical to the top of the line JLAudio HD series, for less than half the price.

Mono amps are usually for subs because they are mostly class d, which is more efficient at converting power. Most multi channel amps are class ab which are usually around 20-40% less efficient which translates into more load on your electrical system.

also more heat

but class a/b give a "truer" sound because most class d are digital, and it will actually cut off parts of the signal in increase the efficiency, i've see a/b mono amps before, but class d is seen 99% of the time
