Starter Going Bad

Guys I have a 98 2 door tahoe and my starter is goung bad. Should I just replace it wit ac delco 337-1010 or should I look for something better. Opinions please

OEM would be fine.

high torque mini from summit racing, then wrap it in a heat blanket. never have a starter go bad again.

Had it tested recently and found that it had some flat spots

Tested on the vehicle or off at a parts store? Flat spots? You mean at times it would not crank even though it had proper power to it? Field coil problems? Please clarify.

correct, it would not sometimes engage. Out of curosity what is the life expectancy of a starter
