No bass at all no matter how high I put the bass on. I also enabled the sub woofer to see if that helps. but it doesnt. also the sound itself sounds ok at low volume but at high volume it sounds really really bad. like I cant understand the words being said and still very low bass.

my stock setup used to make my mirrors shake.

Your high pass filter may be on too high.
Look for the high pass setting and set it to between 60hz and 80hz.

I have a non-Bose system like you with Pioneer door speakers, a separate amp and sub, and a Pioneer head unit.
It sounds far better than stock even with the sub off.

I made a mistake and just realized it.
I meant your low pass filter should be in that range if it has a setting that adjust the low pass for the door speakers.

all hp/lp filters should be set to off/through. the bose amp does all of thison its own. you need to send a fullrange signal from the head unit to the bose amp.

well I found the problem. its in the GMOS100. I had to turn that white thing with the screw to increase volume. I dont know how that effected it but it sounds way better now.

so I should set everything as through?

Btw how do I know if the amp is working. because I have a feeling I got the wiring wrong.

the little white thing is a gain adjustment.. it is used to match the output level of the deck to the input of the interface. for general setting you can turn it all the way down, turn deck vol to 3/4(if vol goes to 40, set to 30). then turn the gain adjustment till you hear music go into distortion. then back it off just a hair.
