I bought some LEDS for my dome lamps. I did the front ones first. All was well and they activated with the courtesy function and reading light push button activation.

Then I installed 2 more over the 2nd row seats. I lost the reading light push button function once I did that on both lights. Now the push buttons for the reading lights won’t turn them on. They will come on as a courtesy light when you open the door or turn the dim switch to the right to activate them.

I took them back out and installed the factory bulbs in all both locations and it’s the same issue. Push buttons won’t work for shit.

Any advice is appreciated.

Ok I just found a blown 10A fuse drivers side fuse block marked “IS LPS” interior lamps fuse was blown. Replaced it. Working fine.

Still wondering why the LEDS tripped it.

From your description of events, my guess is a ground problem.
I’ll have to keep working on the issue. Gonna figure this out one way or the other.
