So where is the Transfer Case Control Module located on a 2011 4x4 Tahoe SSV?
I am not 100% sure but it might be up under the dash behind the drivers left side dash fuse panel / farther back than the bcm, attached to firewall
it will have 3 harness plugged in

So is yours bad @opfor2 ?

I often see a lot of guys replacing it when troubleshooting a TC issue, but feel like it's more a parts cannon approach and it's usually the newbies here saying: "Plz help, my Chebby won't shift out of 4x4, and I already replazed the X,Y, Z and transfer case control module..." [insert a bunch more to make into a horrible run-on sentence, some drama and omit ANY/ALL punctuation, lol]

You know, "those guys"...

Maybe? IDK.

Not sure I have a bunch of codes for the transfer case to include no comms so im going to start with checking ALL electrical connections and then go from there. Funny thing is I’m able to enter and exit 4x4 without issue

Don’t forget the switch in the dash, they’re a common problem and super easy to swap out. Good luck, I’ve been dealing with a TCCM intermittent code being thrown. I think mine might need to have an update done, there was a TSB on it.

My transfer case was having shifting problems and after replacing the switch, which did not fix it, I replaced the transfer case control module and the problem was solved.
