Soaked rear carpet

I have noticed that the rear carpet, i mean the near tail gate is all soaked, is this a known issue with a fix? Did some searching and have not come up with any good leads ....

Anyone come across this?

GM did issue a revised gasket for it to, supposedly, fix the issue. The revised gasket is available from the dealer as well as LMCTruck.com.

Mine has a liftglass/tailgate alignment issue that I never could resolve. I ended up adding RTV to build up the tailgate top gasket.

Your best bet is to sit a hose on the roof and see if you can spot the leak from inside. Removing the liftglass and headliner trim may help spot it.
