what is the deal with the "woodgrain" on the dash on the passenger side. There's a light "woodgrain" and a dark "woodgrain"

Its the Esky Platinum thats why. They have that kind of dash on the Platinums, besides those will be painted black. Also all dash and center consol is all leather as well as door panels

That was one of the major reasons I didn't buy a platinum, just too many different interior finishes ... two different woods, metallic, just a lot going on for my taste..

However that color combo is the most appealing in the platinum cause the pearl exterior and tan/chocolate interior complement each other beautifully. It looks horrible on some other platinums cause there's literally five or six different colors going on at the same time. Heck, it wasn't until 12 or 13 that they finally came out with a black leather option, before that you were getting chocolate no matter what color esky you had.

Thanks. And yes I am going to be doing a pearl white/black.. Sorry I have to have to many black and I don't really like the all white.. But we will see how it goes.

IMHO... Love the exterior, but think the brown (chocolate) leather, floormats and wood grain ar "fugly".

best of luck Sir... I personally think the Black Granite that Serge has (i think thats the color) and the color that Tony has are the nicest... the WDT just doesn't do it for me.

But either way, I'm sure you'll do the right thing with it.
