The Sierra Denali only came with a non-AFM 6.2L from 07-13. The 07-08 had the L92 and then switched to the L9H in 09 to 13. There aren’t many Sierra Denali’s for sale though.

So on some trucks, the VIN tells what engine it has, usually by the 8th digit. Does this formula hold true for them as well?

Yes. 8th digit is always engine, at least as far as GM goes. 5th will tell you if it’s 2 or 4 wheel drive.

Yeah, mine is greystone metallic and titanium interior. (I think that's what it's called)
