So I finally got around to demolding.

Nice. I will be doing it within the next couple of weeks. What method did you use to take them off?

Pretty simple...a hairdryer to heat the moldings up enough to pull them off, then 3m adhesive remover for the leftover adhesive. Follow it up with a good buffing and done! Took about an hour.

Definitely dental floss or finishing line

You need to use something that'll get under the molding or badges without scratching the paint. A lot of folks use dental floss, fishing line or the like. I use what is essentially a plastic spackle tool. Works great for me!!

Just let us know if you have any issues or questions. Once you get going on it and do it once you'll realize how easy it really is but can be intimidating at first.
