Well I ordered this Tahoe from the factory so I have nobody to blame but myself. I thought it was going awhile ago and didn't really look into it until it finally went.
I'm under the impression from what I have read on the web and the cost of a used track, that this is more common than not.
So I pulled the seat and ordered one from ebay.
While I had her apart I found these two wires off the seat loom, not sure what they are for, there is some kind of capacitor/battery looking gizmo under the oem black tape. Maybe the seat heater, which my 2-door did not come with. (oh trust me, when we ordered it I was kinda bummed they didn't offer this option, was told it had to do with it being a 2-door and the way the seat moves, etc., blah, blah, blah... total bs) see pic #3
anyways.... life goes on.
