youi may be able to put some baffles inside the pipe, like some motorcycle baffles. may not be super quiet, but quieter than open pipes.

They make baffles specifically for sidepipes(Dynomaxs kit has them in the link listed above). In most cases motorcycle baffles would be too small but, now-a-days they are coming out with some large pipes. I now I've 2.5" pipes, I think Exile makes them. My old boss had them on his hardtail, pretty sweet if you ask me.
