Sensor extensions

I’d like to do a 2” leveling kit on my Yukon xl. Can anyone tell me if doing a 2” lift also requires a 2” sensor extension? I’d like to make an extended rod instead of a bracket, but am mostly curious if it’s a 1:1 ratio or something else.

I did a 2.5" front leveling kit on mine and no sensor extension or other modifications were required.
