Scanning while car is being driven / error codes

Hi,

Is it normal to get error codes on a 2017 Yukon when scanning while car is being driven as opposed to not moving?

Depends on the scanner and what you’re looking for. What did you use and what error code?

I used a BlueDriver while engine on in park:

Looks like this code is a communication error from one of the modules. Is the code there if the truck is off but key is in on position? Tag in @swathdiver he knows a lot about trouble codes.

Thanks I got it engine on while in park but it seems that it is there all the time though
