running board ideas

i spent alot of time putting the nnbs running boards on the tahoe and in 90% of the pictures you cant even see them. i dont like painted running boards. lets see what kinda ideas we can all throw around. i was thinking where the nnbs eskys have that chrome strip making that area white!?? what do you guys think

I know you don't like the painted idea, but some stock color matched boards would look awesome. You'd have the white body and black step pad which all flow with your theme.
